We have joined forces to create a bespoke range of sustainable uniforms, crafted to care for our planet, designed to stand out, and sourced to leave a positive impact.
Located within the resort town of Luštica Bay, nestled along the Luštica peninsula, a haven of natural beauty and modern convenience; a one-of-a-kind destination offering peace, healthy living, and modern luxury for those who seek life as it should be.

The Chedi Luštica Bay is the cornerstone of the waterfront Marina Village neighborhood, overlooking the marina and the Adriatic Sea beyond. As its own private enclave with a signature ambiance, The Chedi Luštica Bay integrates seamlessly with the surrounding community, making it a truly unique offering within Montenegro.
At The Chedi, their branding and vision revolve around creating exceptional experiences for their guests while maintaining a deep respect for nature and their local environment. With this in mind, the OCEANR designers worked closely with the team in Chedi to create a bespoke collection of new uniforms that not only embodied their commitment to luxury, comfort, and style but also address the urgent issue of plastic waste.
Inspired by nature
The OCEANR designers sought to portray the beauty of the natural surroundings through clothing. They hand-drew illustrations of local flora, and marine wildlife to bring the magic of the Adriatic Sea alive. The team in Chedi fell absolutely in love with the drawings, which sought to reflect the remarkable surroundings of the hotel.
Designed to care
The team in OCEANR used the eco-friendly sublimation printing technique to transfer the illustrations onto rashguards, tech tees, performance polos, boardshorts, and much more for the different departments within Chedi.
The designers love using sublimation as a heat transfer process due to the versatility and eco-conscious nature of the technique. One can create large designs and the ink remains bright and vivid to create some truly incredible customized designs.
The good news is that the printing technique also results in minimum waste as no dye will get into the water system whilst the same sublimation print can be used multiple times to print on more than just one garment.

A Focus On The Planet
Montenegro offers wild, untouched nature and the team in Chedi is always looking for ways to preserve it. They try to reduce or even eliminate any negative impacts on the planet, through their clothing, recycling, and waste reduction initiatives and their “Return and Earn” principle with its suppliers for most glass bottles.
The team in Chedi has implemented several green initiatives to reduce their carbon footprint. We were honored to be asked to contribute to its environmental stewardship with our eco-friendly, sustainable apparel and accessories. Custom-designed to capture the essence of this luxury hotel. The hotel is committed to making a difference throughout their entire resort, with a daily carbon footprint per occupied room is only 6.15 kgCO2e/occ room, significantly lower than the global industry average!
In addition to reducing its carbon footprint, the hotel has implemented recycling and waste reduction initiatives. Plastic packaging and cardboard are recycled, and food waste is processed to limit the total waste.
At OCEANR, we love that in addition to their super green initiatives, The Chedi Hotel also has several initiatives aimed at giving back to the community. We were honored to be asked to contribute to its environmental stewardship with our eco-friendly, sustainable products and apparel. Custom-designed to capture the essence of this luxury hotel.
All linen is donated to hospitals and orphanages, and the hotel has a Giving Bag in guest rooms where guests can donate items that we will distribute to local associations helping people in need, we just LOVE it!
The Green Impact
As a result, they are constantly striving to strike a balance between providing excellent service and being environmentally responsible, because they believe that living in harmony with nature is possible.
At OCEANR, we are on a mission with our brand partners to reclaim the oceans by removing as much plastic waste as we can, protecting our eco-system, and striving to learn from and inspire others to become part of the solution.
Each shirt in the Chedi’s recreation team’s new collection is made from the equivalent of 14 plastic bottles, a significant step towards reducing plastic pollution and preserving the pristine beauty of the Mediterranean Sea.
Through the use of our eco-fabrics, our combined clothing collaboration has prevented 3753 plastic bottles from entering the eco-system!
Recycled polyester is an eco-fabric derived from post-consumer waste, which we used in the Chedi’s Rashguards, Tech Tees, Performance Polos, Boardshorts, and more, and is derived from recycled plastic water bottles. The Ocean Conservancy Movement
The Chedi Luštica Bay is proud to be part of the collective movement to raise awareness about the importance of our oceans and inspire action to protect them.
OCEANR x Chedi uniform collaboration has removed over 304 Kilograms of ocean waste from the Mediterranean Sea.
This is achieved through supporting the incredible NGO Enaleia. The NGO supports fisheries in the Big Mediterranean Clean Up. OCEANR supports their work on the frontline of ocean conservancy, they fish for plastic and remove it, to help create a safe environment for marine life. We fund Enaleia to remove one kilo of ocean waste for each of our core products purchased. Together, we are all working towards rewriting the future health of our oceans.
