Enquiries and quote requests
When you contact us or request a quote, we collect the details you provide, which may include your name, business email, phone number, company, location, industry, product selection, quantities and message. We use these details to respond, discuss your requirements and prepare a proposal. Please do not include sensitive personal information in these forms.
We process enquiries to take steps at your request before entering a contract, or for our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries where you act for an organisation. Information needed to fulfil an order is processed to perform the contract and meet applicable legal obligations. Sending an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to our newsletter.
Newsletters
If you subscribe or select the newsletter option on a form, we use your email address to send OCEANR news and marketing updates with your consent. You can unsubscribe using the link in our emails or by contacting hello@oceanr.co. Newsletter consent is separate from your website cookie choices.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use Complianz to record your cookie preferences and Google Tag Manager to manage website tags. Necessary technologies support security, consent choices and features you request, such as the quote basket. Optional Statistics and Marketing categories are off until you choose to allow them.
With Statistics consent, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand website use and measure completed enquiries, quote requests and newsletter sign-ups. This can involve online identifiers, device and browser information, pages visited, interactions and referral information. These data are not necessarily anonymous. Google signals and Google ad personalisation are disabled in our current Analytics configuration.
With Marketing consent, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag support advertising measurement and audiences. These services may receive page addresses, referral information, IP address, device and browser characteristics, cookie identifiers and information about website actions. They may associate this activity with information held on their own platforms, subject to their policies and your settings. Our conversion tracking is designed to send the type of successful submission, not the name, email address, phone number or message entered into the form.
You can accept, deny or select optional categories in the banner and change or withdraw your choice at any time using Manage consent. Withdrawal stops future optional tracking on this site; it does not undo processing that occurred before withdrawal. You can also delete existing cookies through your browser. Service providers and security
Our website, enquiry handling and communications use service providers for hosting, forms, email, business systems and security. We share information needed to provide these services and may disclose it where required by law. Google reCAPTCHA is used to help protect forms against spam and abuse and may process device, browser, network and interaction information for that purpose. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Google, Meta and LinkedIn may process information outside the European Economic Area. Their privacy notices explain their processing, international transfer arrangements and privacy controls: Google, Meta and LinkedIn. Links to external websites are governed by those websites’ own notices.
Retention and your rights
How long information is needed depends on the purpose, whether an enquiry develops into a customer relationship, and applicable legal or record-keeping requirements. Contact us for information about the retention period applying to your records.
Subject to applicable conditions, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of processing or data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it and object to direct marketing at any time. Contact hello@oceanr.co. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or your local supervisory authority.
Liability
We reserve the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services. We may modify these Conditions at any time by posting the Conditions on our website.
OCEANR does not seek to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence or that of its members, agents, directors or employees or for any fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law and save as provided above, neither OCEANR nor any associated company shall be liable to you by reason of any representation, or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, or in negligence (whether on the part of OCEANR or any of its members, agents, directors, employees or otherwise) for any indirect special or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of saving), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the use of this website, the supply of the products or their use or resale by you.

We cannot be held responsible for material displayed on third-party websites or any other written material. The only prices that apply for OCEANR products are those stated on the OCEANR website.
