Yesterday, on March 17th, we had the honor of welcoming Minister Niamh Smyth TD, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade, and Employment with special responsibility for Trade Promotion, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Transformation. Her visit was part of her official trip to the Baltics, and we were thrilled to showcase our work and discuss our ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Exploring Our Commitment to Sustainability & Growth

Minister Smyth was accompanied by her private secretary, Sandra Coleman, as well as Joanna Dobrzynska-Sobiech from Enterprise Ireland, along with Eimer Friel and Chris Boyle from the Irish Embassy in Latvia. The visit began at our office, where we introduced her to our team—the driving force behind everything we do.

We took this opportunity to share insights into our sustainable practices, recycling processes, and eco-conscious production methods. Minister Smyth was particularly interested in how we integrate sustainability into every stage of production, ensuring our products are not only high-quality but also environmentally responsible.

As we showcased some of our standout collections—including those created for Beacon Hospital, the luxury Four Seasons collection, and our high-performance Arctic Jackets—we also reflected on the company’s growth over the past 18 months. It was an inspiring discussion on how our industry is evolving, and we were grateful for the opportunity to exchange ideas on sustainability, trade, and innovation.

A Behind-the-Scenes Factory Tour

A major highlight of the visit was the factory tour, where Minister Smyth and her delegation got a firsthand look at our production process. From the initial stages of cutting and assembling garments to the final preparation for shipment, we walked them through every step of the journey.

One particularly exciting moment was showcasing our newly expanded second floor, where state-of-the-art machines and equipment have been installed. This was especially meaningful for Sandra and Chris, who had previously visited in 2023 for the ribbon-cutting ceremony—back when the second floor was still an empty space. Seeing the transformation firsthand left a lasting impression, underscoring the progress we’ve made in scaling up operations.

Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with Innovation & Growth

Having Minister Smyth visit on St. Patrick’s Day made the occasion even more special. It was a celebration of Irish enterprise on the global stage, reinforcing the importance of innovation, trade, and sustainability in our industry.

We are incredibly grateful for the Minister’s time, interest, and support. Visits like these remind us of the impact we’re making and fuel our ambition to continue pushing boundaries.

A huge thank you to Minister Smyth, Sandra, Joanna, and Chris for joining us! We look forward to continuing to drive sustainable growth and making a lasting impact in our field.
