We believe environmental and community action is strengthened through collaboration. We are committed to supporting carefully selected organisations whose work aligns with our values, from protecting oceans and restoring ecosystems to strengthening communities.
Through these partnerships, we aim to support established organisations and communicate the outcomes of their work, extending our commitment to environmental and community initiatives beyond the products we create.
Since 2018, OCEANR has supported a range of organisations working across ocean-plastic recovery, marine conservation, ecosystem restoration and environmental education. Through partnerships with organisations including Enaleia, Plastic Fischer, Tengah Island Conservation, UOCEAN 2050 and Plant-for-the-Planet, we have contributed to projects ranging from plastic removal and interception to mangrove and forest restoration, wildlife protection and educational initiatives.
These collaborations have shaped our approach and continue to inform how we select and support future partners.
In 2025, we decided to work with Plastic Fischer to remove as much plastic as possible, starting with an initial commitment of 15,000 kg.
Plastic Fischer is the world’s first organization to stop ocean plastic pollution at one of its major sources: rivers. They invented a simple yet effective technology to capture and remove river plastic before it enters the ocean, where it breaks down into harmful microplastics and threatens marine life.
Through this partnership, we supported a plastic recovery project in the Citarum River, one of the world’s most polluted rivers, helping to reduce plastic pollution and protect our oceans.

Between 2018 and 2024, we successfully funded the removal of 42,000 kilos of plastic through our partnership with ENALEIA and our Kilo for the Planet campaign, where every purchase contributed to our pledge to remove ocean waste.
Enaleia is a social start-up which was founded in 2016 creating the first school for professional fishing in Greece. The school encourages fishermen to adopt sustainable fishing techniques and assists in the reduction of ocean plastic by ‘fishing for it.’ This has become known as the ‘Mediterranean Cleanup,’ and now Enaleia works with hundreds of fishermen who are collecting thousands of kilos of plastic from the sea every week.
During 2020 – 2023 we worked with Tengah Island Conservation (TIC); a non-profit biodiversity management initiative located in Pulau Tengah.
TIC was formed initially in collaboration with Batu Batu, an eco-resort located within the park.
Their conservation efforts include daily boat patrols of neighbouring islands to try and encounter turtle nests before they are either poached or predated. The eggs are brought back to the TIC hatchery where they are hatched and released almost immediately back into the wild.
Our support for environmental and community initiatives has included mangrove and forest restoration, alongside conservation and educational projects.
The partnerships below form part of our journey so far, extending our commitment to environmental and community initiatives beyond the products we create.
Between 2022 and 2023, we partnered with the UOCEAN 2050 project, an innovative initiative dedicated to tackling pressing environmental challenges and fostering sustainable development for our planet’s oceans, to support large-scale mangrove restoration across Indonesia and Africa.
Through this initiative, we funded the planting of 200–400 mangrove trees every month, helping to regenerate vital coastal ecosystems.
These trees do more than just absorb carbon—they act as natural barriers against coastal erosion, protect biodiversity, and support local communities. This project played an important role in contributing to long-term environmental resilience.
From 2020 to 2022 we supported the Plant-for-the-Planet initiative by funding the planting of 2,250 trees on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico and 1,500 educational packs for school kids.
Plant-for-the-Planet, a global network of children and young people, is among the driving forces behind a worldwide movement to plant and protect trees. Plant for the Planet is committed to the restoration and protection of forest ecosystems in the global south. One of their projects is located on the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico, where a team of ecologists and restoration workers plants millions of trees every year to restore destroyed forests.
